Mujitsu and Tairaku's Shakuhachi BBQ

Hello I am Mari. I have a background in Massage, reiki, and ambient music. A good friend of mine passed away last year and left me her shakuhachi. I am hoping to find a teacher in Auckland New Zealand as this is where I currently live. I have as yet, not been able to get a note out of the instrument, so I guess I need a teacher. I do feel drawn to the instrument.
