Hello again
I've been recently training Tamuke, without any written guide, and only Katsuya Yokoyama recording's aid. I already took most of it, but theraare some parts that are tricky to get without a score. Iwami Baikyoku sensei, on the few times I met him, once told me to beware of Suriage when playing pieces such as Tamuke. I recall of Suriage in Minyou songs by raising slowly the finger of the note to accompany the voice of the singer. Is it the same in Tamuke? I couldn't get any place with such sound (Except for Ri no meri notes, which I use kamuri/nayashi, and it seems suriage-ish, heheh)
Thanks in advance

For those interested:
Here are some links to some useful Tamuke resources--
Some playing instructions in .pdf form:

A well-played mp3 of Tamuke (on a 1.8 shakuhachi):

These materials are put up by Alcvin Ramos, on his website in Vancouver, B.C. where he's part of an active shakuhachi community (he's in mid-trip in Japan right now, chopping shakuhachi culms, hanging out in temples, and riding the bullet train with some other lucky devotees...).
He has more Honkyoku material at:

Al also has some nice shakuhachi for sale (both good turned wooden ones and handmade bamboo shakuhachi) for reasonable prices--lots of other great material there: http://www.bamboo-in.com/ Good links page...
Regards.
