Can anyone help me identify this hanko?

I have recently been given a fantastic 1.9 shakuhachi, and am trying to find out more about it. The only info that I have is that it is 'probably pre-war'.   The flute has a really good sound. If anyone recognises the hanko in these pictures, please let me know.

Thanks

The Kanji characters read Bamboo above Friend. It reads Chikuyuukai.

It'smade by the company, Kotokoryu
You can find their info here: http://www.chikuyusha.jp/cwd19/3fmenglish.html

Thank you Perry - makes the flute that much more interesting, knowing some of its story.
