The Tenri Cultural institute in New York City, has launched a new cultural initiative, ARTS AT TENRI, which will feature a monthly series of chamber music concerts from both European and Japanese traditions. The first concert of the series, on Sept. 28, will have a sankyoku enemble playing "Chaondo" and "Sankyoku Ichiban" as well as piano trios of Beethoven and Haydn. Following that each month will bring either a traditional Hogaku concert, a piano trio, or the Borromeo String Quartet. We are very excited about this new concert series and invite you to have a look at the season. Here is the link to the web site. James
