Got my Yuu today!

First thing I noticed is it is heavy. When I play it, it is much easier for me to find the music than the natural flute that was lent to me. I am still having a tough time getting sound at all. Sometimes its in the lower octave, sometimes in the higher. Its all sort of random. As I attempt to do the scales I often lose the sound and start over. Its ok afterall.

Thank you all for suggesting it to me. I am not even afraid to let my kids hold it smile

If you are studying with James Nyoraku Schlefer you are in very good hands.

Re: Got my Yuu today!

He is coming to Rochester to play at the esteemed Eastman School of Music. Afterwards he agreed to teach Ronnie Seldens students on the Friday afterwards. I am working on getting Friday off to attend.
