Mujitsu and Tairaku's Shakuhachi BBQ

Hello to all. My name is Glenn Swann, from central NJ. Been playing shakuhachi since 1994, teachers- Tomie Hahn,  Steven Rowland(main teacher for most of that time), David Wheeler (at intensives) and Kawase Junsuke III Sensei (when I go to Tokyo that is) all Kinko Ryuu. (and all the other great colorado shakucamp sensei! )  also work on string/shakuhachi pieces with Ishigure Masayo  in NYC. Have accompanied her and her students at performances as well.
Focus on Koten sankyoku and honkyoku, but have been experimenting with more modern pieces (eg emu, ichikotsu) and esp. piano collaborations lately (Fukuda Randou, etc.).  aside from shakuhachi I teach/practice Taijiquan, and study Chado and Chinese Calligraphy. Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu!
