mantra/yoga music....

Have you heard about the new “Sacred Blessings” CD?  It's a collection of songs inspired by the world’s great faiths, all handpicked by life coach ANTHONY ROBBINS. The CD features chants/mantras/music by Deva Premal, Miten & Craig Pruess.  Its perfect for releasing your mind while meditating and doing yoga.  Listen to some of the tracks like "I Love You Lord", "So much Magnificance", "You can Relax now" and my personal favorite the "Gayatri Mantra".  You can sample some tracks at  www.kosmicmusic.com/Product.do?code=KUS … ry=_future and buy the CD there, or at your local retail store.

Re: mantra/yoga music....

Amazing how the marketing tentacles of Anthony Robbins and his ilk can reach into even obscure venues like this.

Looks like somebody registered just to post that ad.

I hear Tony Robbins has a new version of the Buddha's Four Noble Truths:

Life is suffering, location, location, location.

Heheh, This is from Tony Robbins, Real Estate Tycoon.

Proving the theory that there are no atheists in foxholes, when a Real Estate tycoon's market disintegrates beneath his feet him he turns to hawking religion!

... In this case an $18 CD of really sappily sung 'mantra' and prayer certain to become the new frisbee at your next zen center annual picnic.

My favorite of this collection is the "Moola Mantra"! wink

I don't think he needs defending, this does look like spam and the music is kind of sappy, but he had a spiritual bent for quite a while. He was doing fire walking way back in the '80's. I did a fire-walking workshop back then with Tolly Burkan who claims he taught Robbins and Robbins was already famous for it then. Also, on the real estate side, big people like him love the market downturns because they have deep pockets to ride them out and there are plenty of bargains to be had. I kind of thought he was cool in "Shallow Hal" too. He has a pretty big following, that's where the spam probably came from. I think it would be a good thing if he got some shakuhachi in his "hand-picked" collections.
