Mujitsu and Tairaku's Shakuhachi BBQ

does one use oshi in the kan register, and if so does the fingering change for the hits.

ex. in otsu register, using oshi on ro i hit the 2nd hole, but if i do this in kan register the sound suffers horribly. why is that, and what to do
