Hey, Tairaku! Careful whom you disparage! The (very) unassuming guy in your photo happens to be Daibaka Bobo - first generation iemoto of the Bobo-kai school of shakuhachi. While his ryu doesn't (yet) have thousands of avid followers, I'm told he can play dai-kan notes that only small, furry animals (with a specific kind of brain damage) can hear. Hmm. Maybe that was "daikon" I heard...
