Mujitsu and Tairaku's Shakuhachi BBQ

For all you New Yorkers, and those visiting, who play shakuhachi AND like to see art, I would like to recommend a very beautiful show at the Japan Society called "New Bamboo, Contemporary Masters." It's quite a stunning display of sculptures by many different Japanese artists all working in bamboo. I performed at the patron event last night and got a preview along with the hoi poloi.
