hello my name is james. Im 26 years old and live in fountain hill s arizona. Im glad to find this forum hopefully it can help me to progress and meet other with a common love. I have been playing shakuhachi for about four years it has been very hard trying to teach myself. my tattoo artist played for me once and i had to learn it was the most beautiful thing i had ever heard. since then i have been trying to teach my myself.

Welcome to the forum!
Wow, you have persisted on your own for all this time. Well done! If you want to take lessons, a number of us here on the forum teach online byt programs such as Skype, so that could be a good step to explore some of the traditions of shakuhachi music.
