Introduction

Dear Shakuhachi friends,

it is time well that I also introduce myself.

I live with my family in Germany, Berlin. I am 44 years old.

To Easter 1975 gave me a dear neighbor a small little book with the title, the " wisdoms of the east ". Since then employed myself in the Taoism and Confucianism. 1987, began to put on me Buddhism and short time later the particular form - Zen.
I learned zazen in a group established by Taisen Deshimaru.
Changed after some time to the Mumon-kai (Rinzai-Shû) that from Sotetsu Yûzen (Dr. Klaus Zernickow) was escorted. After only one year I left this group again and went on the "spiritual" traveling.

Since 2002 I feel very connected to monastery Daihizan Fumonji in cottage ?Eisenbuch (Germany)?. As I started to feel myself at home, there however, was it Fumon Nakagawa Rôshi, that sent me to the " pilgrim-trip " again.

In all this time, the sound of the Shakuhachi touched me also again and again.

At Mumon-kai Dieter Taiun Weische let it sound and in Daihizan Fumonji was it Fumon Rôshi self.

As I went on to search an instrument for myself, I discovered that there is even a teacher in Berlin.
I take contact to Dietmar Herriger, didn't catch however then however immediately with the instruction at, because first I had another Aim.
Before I wanted to addict myself of the Shakuhachi completely, first had I try to open a Zen-Dojo in Berlin. This venture has itself however as very difficult it proved, since I have not succeeded with it, to bring prospects together sufficiently. Grasp two years sits I there mainly alone and has decided therefore, that I also can in my flat (apartment); so I will probably close the Dojo again.

In this summer, I have instruction with Dietmar Herriger taken.
I often surf since then through the Internet; seek and find many things aout the Shakuhachi.

I hope very much that an alive exchange emerges here.

Sorry for my bad english.

Greetings and Gasshô
Mario
