Etsuzan Fujiyoshi songs

Hi, there are some songs on Etsuzan Fujiyoshi's "Reibo" album I'd like to learn. Does anyone know where I can find notation for any of the following?

Jian he Shui (chinese song)
Komyo
Kuyo
Sange
Yagazin

Hi Brian,

The only way to really learn songs is with a teacher. I can give you the details of a good teacher in Tasmania, guy named Brian...

Seriously, here is some info I found that might help.

- Jiang he Shui 江河水: I found a chinese song by that name arranged for violin here: http://www.violin.net.cn/bbs/dispbbs.as … mp;id=4351

- Kuyo 供養: Mejiro item B0135 (山上月山蒐集尺八譜 (奥州・九州篇), sheet music of songs from Oshu and Kyushu edited by Yamaue Getsuzan) includes something called "Kuyo-kyoku" 供養曲 from Kyushu which might be it or related.

Of course I could learn them by ear even at normal speed, but notation is easier cool that's what they invented it for.

from No-sword...

I can't seem to access the website, but I'll try again later.

from Tairaku...

hero? Hero?? HERO??? So now I'm a sandwich?

But seriously, folks, as soon as I can get a copy of this, I'll get to work on it.

My apologies for the lack of newly transcribed material lately. Business is waaay good, and other events have conspired to deplete both time and energy. (Energy I can get from the cosmos, but I haven't figured out how to get more time). 8^)

Re: Etsuzan Fujiyoshi songs

Ok guys, I need a little help here. I can't get into this website (timeout problems). If some kind soul would send me a copy of this piece, I'll get to work on a transcription soonest.

TIA...

Re: Etsuzan Fujiyoshi songs

Wow! Quick work, guys!

Thanks to Edosan for a score, Tairaku for the sound file, and No-sword for the links.

I need to make some editorial/artistic decisions and then can proceed. {Unless all y'all have 3.5 octave chops, and, double, triple and quadruple stop facility, I think I need to "de-string" the thing.}  8^) I will make two versions, one as presented, and another "without the excessive grace notes". It will sound less Chinese that way, but then, youse guys can put them where/when you want them!

Thanks again, I really appreciate the assistance.

(And now to begin work)

Re: Etsuzan Fujiyoshi songs

Ok!

Jiang he Shui 江河水 can be found at the usual place in the solos folder...

http://www.4shared.com/dir/5131393/30e8 … iSolo.html

Tairaku's request for a grace-note-less version will be honored shortly.

Thanks again for the assistance, this forum and its members are awesome. On second thought, maybe this isn't really a forum after all, maybe its a fivum or sixum. 8^)

Re: Etsuzan Fujiyoshi songs

and, as per Tairaku's request, Jiang he Shui 江河水 at the usual place

http://www.4shared.com/dir/5119010/dc0a … aring.html

in the solos folder

suffix gn is grace notes, suffix ngn is no grace notes.
