Playing shakuhachi with Pipa

A young Chinese lady walked into Chado yesterday, said, "I heard about you." and then started shredding on the pipa in amazing fashion. She was OUT THERE. Anyway she wants to play some music so I'm wondering if anybody knows of pipa/shakuhachi stuff or anything that could be adapted for that? Bonus points for Kinko notation, but Western will do. Or even Tozan I suppose.

I know Kurahashi did something along these lines so I'll also ask him.

Re: Playing shakuhachi with Pipa

Kurahashi has done several Chinese folk tunes with Wu Man and a couple of other pipa players -- he has at least one or two written out.
