Edo "Shakuhachi" with ONE helluva finger hole

Edo "Shakuhachi" with ONE helluva finger hole, sold on eBay by a Japanese shop that may have zen flutes and flower vases confused:

RARE★ EDO Antique Japanese Shakuhachi ZEN Bamboo Flute

http://cgi.ebay.com/RARE-EDO-Antique-Ja … 20af825394

"23 x 3.5 x 3.8"

Centimenters, inches or feet?????

"...may need some little maintenance to be played"

Ya think?????

-------------------

Looks like it's probably a nice ikibana vase. For $940.

So, if you're on eBay looking for a good older shakuhachi that will play and has a guarantee and won't cost you your first (or second) born, Perry Yung has a nice AUTHENTIC KINKO 1.8 JAPANESE SHAKUHACHI BAMBOO FLUTE up right now for sale.

Re: Edo "Shakuhachi" with ONE helluva finger hole

I almost bought it with the  "Buy It Now! " button thinking it was Molado's only documentable proof that komuso's were smoking weed with their shakuhachi's.  This is a komuso head shop pipe if I ever saw one.  That bowl would hold about a full ounce.  I will buy it anyways and send it to Gishin for Valentine's Day and for International Flute Day.  This is what happens when you pull too hard on I.V. Lenin's finger.

I'm no expert, but I think a true bong has a tube that carries the wonder fog through a water reservoir that takes the astringency out of the smoke.
