Mujitsu and Tairaku's Shakuhachi BBQ

The third annual Matthew Sperry memorial festival will be taking place at 21 grand (http://21grand.org), Saturday and Sunday, June 3, 4



Saturday will feature the great trombone player, Stuart Dempster playing solo and with various loal musicians. And an orchestra of Matt's friends and colleagues will be perfoming.



Sunday will feature one of Matt's close friends from his days in Seattle, violist and composer Christian Asplund who is now a professor of composition at Brigham Young U.

This concert will feature many of Christians pieces including the premiere of his new work for viola and shakuhahi.

The orchestra will also perform this night as well.



All proceeds go to Matt's wife and daughter, Stacia and Leila.
