Cat goes bonkers for Ji

My sister's cat for some reason goes nuts over jinoko power, the powder used to make ji paste when mixed with urushi (don't worry I don't let them near the urushi!).

Now to get back to making more Jinashi and Jimori shakuhachi for sale! Cats have a way of halting ones efforts smile

Re: Cat goes bonkers for Ji

Every cat knows something unknown to every other thing, including other cats.

My cat forces himself onto my lap when I play and insists on staying there as long as I play. When he started doing that I took it as a sign I was getting better. In the beginning he would hide or retreat downstairs.

In contrast he detests the harmonium. First he'll jump on my shoulders and jump down agressively. Then he stares at me like "when are you going to be through with this bullshit?" Then he leaves the room until I quit playing.
