The "San Koten Honkyoku" of the Kinko-Ryu

Below is the link to a PDF file containing the well written and informative Master's thesis submitted to the University of British Columbia in 1977 by ethnomusicologist Norman Stanfield (see his entry in Komuso.com).

I wonder if Mr. Stanfield has since had a change of heart about the pleasure value of hearing sankyoku (pg. 178).
