My First Lesson!
Well I finally had my first lesson!!! I note a bit more on my blog :

but to sum it up in fewer words,what a delight it was! As I might have mentioned before,my teacher is Larry Tyrrell and my first lesson was truly a fun and enlightening experience. That lesson went by so quickly! But I learned a lot and look forward to next week. I know teachers are important but with the shakuhachi I feel they are even more so than with some other instruments where one can teach themselves a lot on their own.
Now off to practice!!
