Mujitsu and Tairaku's Shakuhachi BBQ

Hello,  I've been playing on and off for a few years; I had lessons for a while with Kiku Day, here in London, but have continued playing and learning on my own. I've been going to a beginners' shakuhachi summer school at the University of London and it's revived my interest.  I did also buy a bundle of relatively thin walled root end bamboo a year or two ago, and have just started practicing cutting and drilling on the thinnest bit.
