Re: Hello ! from China!

"Noble" is such a fine word. I'm glad you have found a noble teacher... or maybe he found you?

Regards,

Harry.

Welcome to the forum xiaonaihua!
Do not worry about your English, we all speak shakuhachi, this is all that is important. smile
I am sorry I cannot Kanji (or Chinese), can you write your teachers name in Romanji? (sorry, I don't know the word in Chinese)
Your flutes look well made, natural, good for suizen.
I wish you well in your study and practice.

Re: Hello ! from China!

Hello xiaonaihua!.

My wife was born in Shanghai in 1939. Her parents were Russian and her mother came from Habin, near Mongolia. They had to leave in 1945 because of the revolution.

Now we live in New Zealand, Aotearoa.

Kel.

Re: Hello ! from China!

冢本平八郎: The first character 冢, if combined with the earth radical 土 would become 塚 hence 塚本平八郎 which is Tsukamoto Heihachiro. Heihachiro...a very cool first name, not in common use today but used by samurai of long ago.
