The 2nd Annual Japanese Music Festival in Manhattan will be held on July 29 2006. It will be held at the Naumberg Bandshell in Central Park from 10am to 2:30 pm.
It will feature many local artists and ensembles. the pieces to be played represent many different shakuhachi schools including Tozan, Jin Nyodo, Kinpu, Kinko, and Meian.
