Hi Folks
I have been using a custom bleaching rack for over a year now, and wanted to share the idea. I do aburanuki on the harvested pieces, then hang them on the bleaching rack, on a North-facing wall of my house. The pieces hang free and twirl in the wind, and are usually bleached to the lovely sandy colour in about a week. Then they go into the garage for a few months to a few years.
