Re: Leading Market Indicator that times are hard

I will keep my Yuu in immaculate shape with the box in mint condition with the original paper wrapped around the flute and sell it in the year 2021 for $1,700 USD and promise to donate 5% to the Shakuhachi forum.     NOS Vintage Shakuhachi Yuu !   Buy it Now Price!  Free Shipping!!  I also purchased through the forum a year ago an original TeePee Benjo Shakuhachi from Chris Moran that has not increased at all in value.  Certain items remain stable or have lost their value in this country.   Times are hard.

What were they before? I have a hazy memory of them going for 135 on Ebay with a free lesson from Chikuzen.

Re: Leading Market Indicator that times are hard

When I was in the market to buy one I always saw $165 on both ebay and the website. So I declined and went to a Perry Yung. Not that the Yuu is bad. Nothing of the sort. I simply had an offer come through for a PY 1.8 Earth at a bargain price(traded away those NAF flutes I had! )

Re: Leading Market Indicator that times are hard

My first Yuu cost about $90. It's risen in value better than gold. I'm with MrWuWu. I'm putting mine in a safety deposit box.

That's probably because you haven't used it.
