Mujitsu and Tairaku's Shakuhachi BBQ

I stumbled onto some of his recordings via the amazon mp3 app. His albums are very cheap on there, so I was surprised to listen to one and find that he isn't one of those upcoming or amateur players featured on those bargain cd's.  He's a pretty fantastic player, his interpretation of San 'an is a real showstopper. I read on some older posts that some years ago, he withdrew from friends and students and kind of disappeared. Just wondered if there were any newer developments, if he's active again or still flying under the radar.
