New piece for Taimu

Hello.

Since this is the jinashi forum, I will now and then post my work with jinashi shakuhachi.

Today, after my concert at St. Ives, Cornwall, I met up with composer Frank Denyer (see Tairaku's review in the review forum). This was the first meeting of probably many, because he is going to write a piece for Taimu shakuhachi - made by Ken LaCosse.
Frank loved my Ab Taimu, and asked me to do a lot of things I never thought of doing. Just an example:
"Sing into your flute."
"Okl Then sing and play the same note alternatively."
"Now play a note, then sing the same note while inhaling." smile
Fun fun fun!
I will meet up with Frank again in March. I think it is very exciting that the first composition for Taimu by a classically trained composer is on its way! Would Frank be the 2nd composer writing for Taimu? After Tairaku? Or does anyone else have the experience?

Kx
