Humm well what can I say? I never felt I was going to post pics and videos of my daghter but I geuss I got caught with the proud parent syndrome.
So here she is! Haruka 春香 Cyr Zou. 7 pounds of joy and so far she has been so easy and sweet. She even managed to tame Gishin with her little giggles and chirping.

Very wonderful, Sebastien!
Get ready for an amazing journey, and congratulations to you and your wife.
Thanks for sharing--pictures are indeed worth more that thousands of words...

Hey I thought priests are supposed to be celibate. The Pope is in North America right now, be careful, you might get defrocked!

Congratulations to you and your family! You have lots of fun things to look forward to. I vaguely remember those early days... staying up most of that first night killing mosquitoes in the room in the midwife's old Japanese style house where our first son was born; she delivered a child of friends of ours last year at the relatively advanced age of 92. Our second child was born nearly two months premature while I was off in Kyoto visiting Myoan-ji with a fellow shakuhachi enthusiast from Romania; I arrived back on the ferry from Osaka (once the cheapest way from Kochi to Kansai but unfortunately no longer in operation) a day later still not knowing what had happened and had the surprise of my life, with my wife in one hospital and my newly born son in an incubator in another one across town.

I will give better congratulations when I see you in person for shakuhachi lessons. All my best to you, your kind wife, and the newest member of the family. Loved the pics.
The kid has one seriously thick head of hair. I thought most babies came out bald as buddhist monks. Not this time though.

She is incredibly cute, Gishin! Congratulations to you and your wife. You're in for a lot of fun and wonder. My son is 22 years old but when I see the pics of your daughter it makes me want to start all over!
