I have posted two videos on Youtube to share from a concert done last Oct. There is a short version of Koku and a short version of Suzuru. These were shortened due to concert time restraints. I hope you enjoy them. Please submit and comments or questions. I also have a new website up at chikuzenstudios.com. You can view the videos there also.

Very nice Chikuzen,
I like your new style. Very understated and austere.

Great performances! Thanks for sharing.
Here's a photo I took from the same concert. From left to right, Michael Chikuzen Gould, Kuniyasu Iwazaki, and Chieko Iwazaki.

Hey Chikuzen, back to the "Japanese costume" topic. Here you are wearing something more informal than the Japanese performers. Were they cool with that?

Samue is the traditional 'work-a-day' garb of temple workers here in Japan. It's also often worn in slightly less formal settings by shakuhachi players. I'm doing a shakuhachi demonstration at a local mall this Sunday, at which I've been asked to wear samue. Your stylin' there Michael.
