Ha-Ro from Adelaide. South Australia!

Just joined the forum after coming back from World Shakuhachi Festival.  Fantastic to hear so many fine players, meet enthusiasts and be inspired by the truly great performers and teachers. I've been playing 12 years.  My main source of instruction other than having one lesson with Dr. Riley Lee has been the 4 Australian Shakuhachi Society Festivals  in '99,2000,'02 and '04.  I love all forms of shaku repertoire old and new.  Homage to the komuso!  Salutations to all players, teachers and fans of the Shakuhachi!   Mark Barnett
