greetings all

My name is Lindsay. Been playing shakuhachi for about four years, first two years studied with Riley Lee, Jim Franklin and Bronwyn Kirkpatrick, then spent two years in Japan learning from Katsuya Yokoyama and Kaoru Kakizakai. Just arrived back in my home country, Australia.

From June I will be backpacking for about six months. Im hoping to see a lot of traditional music. I would like to meet up with other shakuhachi players as well, particularly people who are geographically isolated in their pursuit, seeing as I may be in the area at some stage, wherever that area may be! I might also attend the workshop in London in July.

Re: greetings all

If you're coming through South Africa, please look me up. It would be good to meet.

Cheers

Re: greetings all

Hello John. Where in Sth Africa do you live? I hadn't planned to visit Africa... I will do some research to see how it will fit in financially and logistically the rest of my travels. Do you ever get lessons with anyone, or travel anywhere else for workshops and such?
