Now that's really too bad. I have the honor of being friends with a couple of the players in the Tenrikyo gagaku ensemble here in NYC. In fact, <bragging> they played at my wedding. </bragging> Needless to say, some of the guests were a little freaked out by it.

Personally, I love gagaku, for the same reasons that I was first drawn to shakuhachi, and I'd say to give it another try Toby, but judging from your posts you have, so instead I'll say: "hey, you like what you like."
