Because lots of folks that make their money from Wall Street are saying so, describing our economic straights as "necessary corrections."
Now that I don't have to count my millions, I have more time to blow Ro Buki.
I finally have a good excuse ("It's too expensive") to stop buying organic foofoo food and can get back to living off vienna sausages, rice noodles, and macaroni and cheese. It's gonna be like college all over again.
Considering rising food prices and shrinking budgets, I'm bound to lose some weight.
Since nobody can get any money, work is slow. That gives me plenty of time to post silly stuff on shakuhachiforum.com.
I can finally justify buying some new flutes to my wife, as they are likely more stable investments than anything I can get at my Broker or the bank.
Although financial stocks are down, I imagine major beverage distributors, like those that sell Bombay, Wild Turkey, and Guiness, will rebound nicely. Lot's of folks have an excuse to drink now, so they may be good sectors to look into.
