Also the dates of the next Prague Shakuhachi Summer School are 14.-18. August 2009
For the next year, together with Chemistry Gallery, we are preparing a creative workshop for shakuhachi players and new media artists! This workshop will precede the actual Summer School with its out comes being presented there.
The next year will be in the name of fusion of electronics and the shakuhachi.
It's a place to be.

Hi Merek, I had the pleasure of performing in an ensemble with Kumiko Shuto several years ago. In fact, if my memory serves me correctly, Dan no Ura was the piece she played. She became a mark in the biwa world from that time in my mind that hasn't been surpassed. Powerful, elegant and very musical. Thanks for posting that video.
