I Need Assistance Please

I emailed my Japanese teacher whom I havent seen since 2001 to say hello and inform him of my undying devotion to shakuhachi as well as how I am learning how to play Choshii from Perry Yung in the Apple.

He sent me the message that is below:

sibaraku buri desu.
Binghamton University de Anthropology wo benkyou site iru tono koto,
ganbatte imasu ne.mata, shakuhachi mo totemo jyouzu ni natta desyou.
honkyoku no choshi ha tanjyun na kyoku desu ga oku ga fukaku ,
shakuhachi no genten desu.fuku hito no kokoro ga tutawari masu.
douzo karada ni ki o tuke te osugosi kudasai ne.
me-ru arigatou ! deha mata...

?   hirobe?haruo (chikutei)

I think I get the jist of it...But my Japanese is hip and cool using words like Cho and Majisuka...He is older and retired from teaching @ Tokyo University.  So I never really did understand most of his Japanese and he writes in romaji kinda different than I am used to seeing.  Can sombody please translate this for me cause all I can decipher is:

Good to study anthropology at bING, goodluck try hard, somthing about that kind of persons heart/soul and yea, its blurry for me.
Id appreciate the help.  My japanese is rusty and not used to his japanese at all.

You must be working hard studying anthropology at Birmingham University
mata, shakuhachi mo totemo jyouzu ni natta desyou.
I am sure your shakuhachi playing has improved a lot.
honkyoku no choshi ha tanjyun na kyoku desu ga oku ga fukaku ,shakuhachi no genten desu.
The honkyoku Choshi is a simple piece but there is depth to it and it is the origin of shakuhachi
fuku hito no kokoro ga tutawari masu.
The 'kokoro' (heart and mind) of the person playing will come through
douzo karada ni ki o tuke te osugosi kudasai ne.
Please take care (of your health)

Thank you for your mail! Speak again soon

Hope this helps!
