Meditation for all :)))

Dear friends…
Deeply involved and inspirited people live here and there in our world, and many of them remember how they came to this spirit and involvement…
Unity of people’s consciousnesses, comprehension of one’s own nature, harmony with the world and universe are much closer than one can see at a first glance.
We invite you to make first step toward these, and let us make this step together…
What is needed for this is thirty minutes, flute, and if you do not have the flute it is unnecessary, and of course your intention to be really present during this very moment of time.
We start our playing with gamma for 2-3 minutes, then Kiorei or any other piece you are able to play, then your free improvisation, and finally gamma again for 2-3 minutes.
Then we relish stillness and peace.
We do this on Sunday morning from 7:30 to 8:00 Moscow time (4:30 to 5:00 Greenwich time).
If you start some later or need to finish some earlier it is OK. What is important to be there with all of us during this very period of time.
Let the world hear our playing!
Onegai shimasu! To the glory of Universe!

Re: Meditation for all :)))

That is a worldwide RO-buki! Great! I totally support it!
California is 11 hours behind Moscow, so for us it will be between 8:30 - 9:00 PM on Saturday night. What a great time to practice long tones and play Kyorei

What is gamma? I know kyorei but not gamma.

I was not conscious whether I was riding on the wind or the wind was riding on me.

Gamma is a music scale in a particular key. Russians use this word, but I don't know if it is used in any other places in Europe. I think it may have something to do with Greek letter gamma and of course Greek music theory (since Russian culture borrowed a lot from Greeks), but I am not sure.

What Ba wanted to suggest was to practice Ro-buki on each main note, then play Kyorei followed by long tones again.
