Takemitsu article
Hi,
could anyone help me with finding an article by Toru Takemitsu on the concept of ma. I'm sure I read somewhere, but can't seem to find it again. The odds are that it was called One Sound which I also cannot find.
Please help it is quite important.

I think you may mean a short essay called "A Single Sound" from 『音、沈黙と測りあえるほどに』(新潮社、1971年10月)

When I was doing research for "November Steps" (one of the topics of my masters history exame) I got some of books from the Nec Library. Sorry I don't remember the names ;-) I will look for them & let you know.
1st was Takemisu talking about his music & 2nd was interviews with him & 3rd was music analysis to his music. His was talking about "MA" there.
