Thanks! This looks like a great article gotta read it slowly and make sure I get it all. When it comes to Muslim culture I feel so ignorant and need to deepen my appreciation of the beauty and depth of what they have to offer. I started to feel my lack of knowledge when I was in China and saw how much influence Muslim culture had and has even today over general Chinese Han society.

I started to learn about Islam and its culture when I came back from helping Chikuzen at one of his camp. On my ride back to the airport I was with one of his students and she introduced me to Rumi and Sufism I read his poems and I can say this is truly something everyone should read.

Indeed. Outside of Indian,Chinese, Korea or Japanese when I read Rumi and about Sufism I did not feel muslimized it felt quite right.
