Some video footage from the Kumamoto Shakuhachi Festival 2010

Greetings All,
I've put a few video pieces from the Kumamoto Shakuhachi Festival held on February 14th.  There are a few more to come.  And please excuse the poor audio/video.  It was an honest attempt by a willing amateur.

The last note of sanya send shivers down the spine and left me with a nice tingly feeling.  Great stuff.  Thanks for posting it Jeff.

Hey Lorka, glad you liked it. When I hit that last note both in the rehearsal and the finale a couple of kids jumped and squeaked a bit wink Alas, it still never comes out the way it does in practice. Just gotta keep practicing I guess.

I jumped too, but luckily I was home, by my computer, and no one saw me.  Actually, I had no idea it was you playing (due to the tengai), but I really enjoyed it.  Strange that it should be you, as your name came up in discussion when I was chatting with Gishin on the phone the other day (don't worry, it came up only in a good sense).  Please post more recordings like that one.  Excellent stuff (and much appreciated)
