Thanks Abraxas, that is a great book and has much to offer the shakuhachi player or any musician.

Some opinions are excessive such as when he berates jazz musicians, but overall it's well worth looking at. Good find.

I once thumbed through this in a book store and nearly bought it, so it's nice to see it available online.

I don't like what he says about vintage shakuhachi, but.....ha just kidding!
