Shakuhachi artists on cdbaby.com

As I'm trying to develop a relationshionship with CDBaby to produce a low-tech album, I was surprised and pleased to learn about how many shakuhachi artists are available:

http://www.cdbaby.com

John Kaizan Neptune (A virtual unknown, but I thought we'd include him anyway.)
- WORDS CAN'T GO THERE
- Prism
- Prime Numbers
- Steps in Time
- Bamboo Magic

Jeff Cairns (That's OUR Jeff!)
- Silent Letters, Secret Pens

Alcvin Takegawa Ramos (Again, one of US!)
- Japanese Traditional Flute For Meditation : Zen Shakuhachi Vol. 1
- Japanese Traditional Flute For Meditation : Zen Shakuhachi Vol. 2
and
- The Mysterious Sound of the Wind in the Bamboo by Matsu Take Ensemble

James Nyoraku Schlefer
- Wind Heart
- Flare Up
- Solstice Spirit
- In The Moment

Michael Chikuzen Gould (Nahhhhh, couldn't be ....)
-Shakuhachi: Floating Clouds

Brian Tairaku Ritchie (Never heard of him, but I hear that he is tall.)
- Taimu
- Ryoanji

John Singer (The name does sound familiar ... )
- Zen Music with Ancient Shakuhachi
- Shakuhachi Zen
- Shakuhachi Bell (feat. Karma Moffett)

Andrew MacGregor
- Four Shakuhachi Meditations

Josh Smith (OUR OWN Josh!)
- Sound of the White Phoenix (Hakuho-on)

David Duncavage
- The Empty Bell

Marco Lienhard
- Shakuhachi
- Poeme Du Bambou
and
- Music From H. Miyazaki's Anime, Part 2 (Music from Totoro, Kiki's delivery service, Howl's Moving Castle, NAusicaa, Ponyo)
by East Winds Ensemble
- Beginnings by Taikoza

Peter Ross
- Mystic Caravan

Shamalamacord
- Shamalamacord
(No shakuhachi but it does have: "Accordion and Shamisen combine to form a sound unlike anything heard before." That's for sure)

Re: Shakuhachi artists on cdbaby.com

Thanks for the Moran-bump and not to toot my own horn, but I have another on CD Baby 'Shirakawa' under the band name Stands and Cairns.  Thank you all for supporting real people in their pursuit of sound beauty.

I buy lots of music from CDbaby. Just to add a few shakuhachi artists who have music on CDBaby to your list...

Adrian Freedman

Jorge Alfano

Sonic Synergy

Michel Dubeau

Rodrigo Rodriguez

Phil Nyokai James

Joseph Pepe Danza

Geni Skendo & Dominik Wania

Brian Wagetsu Franklin

And I'm sure there's quite a bit more as well...

Christ, I forgot to include Phil.

smile Thanks for the heads-up.

Okay, let's keep listing more. How many of these guys are on Amazon, too, I wonder?
