Yoshio Kurahashi in the bay area, September 16-19
I am happy to announce the return to the bay area by a great shakuhachi player and teacher, Yoshio Kurahashi, visiting from Kyoto.
There will be private lessons and group classes available and also a dinner/concert.
Below is the schedule with available lesson times.
Please contact me offlist for more information or to reserve a lesson time. All events are taking place in my loft in West Oakland.

here is the menu for the dinner at Yoshio sensei's concert
tofu watercress soup
radichio, arugula and grilled potabella mushroom w/ creamy miso dressing
natsu and tempeh dengaku
brown rice w/ lotus root, burdock, carrot, arame, ginger, scallion,
stir fried greens w/ black bean sauce
vegan matcha cheesecake w/ poached pears
tofu, tempeh, mirin and miso will all be homeade

I want to do a recording project of the various moans of delight that occur upon serving meals like this....
