Hi .. facial acoustic impedance seems to be fairly common amongst shakuhachi players. I've noticed though that some days I Can hardly get a note, but that trimming, or even sometimes just "smoothing down" my 'tache cures the problem. Is there an ideal length of 'tache that should be stuck to, or is this effect just in my head?
