Renaissance Great Bass Rackett 3D Files are free, printed and youtubed

EVERYTHING HERE IS FREE TO DOWNLOAD.

3 meters long bore in 30 cms long canister , you will never find this in the shakuhachi unless you try with shakuhachi mouthpiece , this is renaissance instrument.

I first listened Stravinsky at 16 years old and fallen in love to bassoon. I wanted to build a bassoon and than I researched its history. It was rackett at middle, renaissance and baroque era than forgotten.

I decided to start of revival of Renaissance Great Bass Rackett and spent 16 years to find the plans. Than I found name of a book and than leipzig 1645-1655 rackett and than berlin musical instrument museum sent me an 250 mb, one page pdf.

that plan pdf is loaded on to archive.org and libgen.st

Than my friend from archive.org prepared the 3d files and put in to libgen.st , thingiverse and archive org including the 3d printed reed and its preparation and printed with his 350 dollars worth of creality max printer and played to youtube.

archive.org had a cyberattack and have few days to return to normal. now time is 19,10,2024 14:48

HERE IS THE LINK FOR THINGIVERSE

https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6774133

YOU CAN DOWNLOAD FILES AND PRINTING SPECIFICATIONS HEREABOVE

I am adding youtube links.

Above is from BBCs David Munrow , he is the best and lots of links at youtube. You must listen , genius.

our rackett is one of the best , leipzig inventory , 1645-1655 era ,made from ivory , pure white , 30 cms long and 6cms wide one

our rackett is recorded at youtube but I could not find the link , link is at archive.org , this is for sure and may be at thingiverse but may be archive org is closed for next few weeks. 19.10.2024 17.05 istanbul

you can print either white or black or wood finish with wood filament and lacquer later if it is possible but I dont have idea of smooth finish and precision finish quality of wood filament.

The important thing is bore , material is not important.

you must select the highest precision , slow but result is excellent

There are parallel 30 cms long, 9 pieces of parallel tubes connected in one end to other and make 300 cms tube with central piece. Same bore lenght of a bassoon but small package

I think rackett reed is rare to find , may be special order to dimensions but we have reed 3d print files and instructions to finish.

I found some people want to sell the printed instruments god knows to what price. Dont be scammed. I think you can order around 150 dollars from printer vendor. DONT FORGET TO LOOK AT THINGIVERSE PRINT INSTRUCTIONS AT THE LEFT FOR THIS RACKETT.

DONT FORGET TO SLS IF YOU CAN PAY , IT IS STEEL HARDNESS NYLON PRINTED WITH LASER , WHEN YOU HIT WITH HAMMER , IT SOUNDS LIKE STEEL , ITS VERY HIGH PRECISION BUT EXPENSIVE I THINK.

I think sls laser nylon printing is not suitable for reeds.
