Re: Japanese traditional (folk etc) in western notation.

I have a book called "Minyo, furusato nihon no uta"  民謡 ふるさと日本のうた  published by Nobarasha  ISBN 4-88986-300-1   I bought it at the Kinokuniya in Shinjuku, but you can probably order it from amazon.co.jp  I've ordered other books from them.  They handle overseas orders with no problem.  Definitely not shakuhachi oriented even though it specifies the intro to most songs played by shakuhachi.  Has the melody line in western notation and the words all in Japanese.
