Anyone involved in prison shakuhachi teaching programmes or like voluntary teaching... teaching kids for free etc. etc. ??

Regards,

Harry.

Re: Anyone Teaching in Prisons?

Allow me to elaborate:

To spread the joy of recieving a wonderful 1.8 hocchiku from Perry I want to donate a shakuhachi Yuu to someone who can get it to a pair of hands that could use it.

Send me a private email if you know of anybody doing this sort of thing.

Regards,

Harry.

Re: Anyone Teaching in Prisons?

Neil Cohen of Naljor Creations, who distributes the Yuu, runs a prison dharma program, so he would be a good place to start. Mony Levenson also has connections with shakuhachi playing prisoners. Neil is on the forum, Monty can be reached through www.shakuhachi.com.
