He is a professor of Sugiyama University in Nagoya.

Please click the third link from a bottom.
If you can go to iwata1.html, you'll find many MP3 files.

The player is Iwata Ritsuen (Seien-ryu, Myouan Taizan-ha).

Re: Myouan Taizan-ha

Thanks for another great link Eiryuu; I have added it to the Shakuhachi Search Engine.

A tip for those who don't speak Japanese (or whatever language the page happens to be written in)...  If you copy and paste the URL from the address bar of your browser into Google's Search bar, it will generally find that page and offer a translation.  It makes for much easier reading.  Occasionally, it will not find the full address (if the page is buried deep) and you may have to knock off bits and pieces at the end of the URL until Google finds it (then navigate back to that page once you are on the translated site).

Re: Myouan Taizan-ha

Thanks Travis. But sorry, I'm not familiar in English.
Another great site is here.
http://hw001.gate01.com/bambooyk/
Webmaster is Kobayashi Norisuke. He is shihan of Kinko-ryu Chikuyusha.
There are vary styles of shakunachi MP3 and movie files.
http://hw001.gate01.com/bambooyk/koten/koten.htm
Mostly Sankyoku, but bottom files are Honkyoku. Played by Inoue Koken.
Highly recommended site.
