I just ordered my first flute.tried the guitar without much luck. Hope this works out better.

Hi John. Sorry....the guitar is actually easier. (smile) Good luck. If this doesn't work for you, try the Native American flute. That is much easier to learn.

I dunno..I tried the guitar once and gave up. I found the quena much easier than the guitar - piano, too is difficult - though I studied that for 6 years...I'm hoping that the experience with the quena will help me with the shakuhachi.
