Best book on shakuhachi making?

Hello,
I was wondering what the best book on shakuhachi making is.  I assume the best would be in Japanese, if not let me know.  I think something like that would be good to have around.  If you do know what the best book would be, also where it might be purchased would be helpful.  Thanks for any help.

Re: Best book on shakuhachi making?

Hey, Chris...

For jiari, I found this one quite informative: http://www.shakuhachi.com/CM-Kudo.html . There is not much in the way of fine tuning the bore in there, but a tremendous amount of other creational info, including harvesting, utaguchi, nakatsuke, ji, straightening, etc.

For details on bore work (and I have not read it yet, but very much plan to), perhaps: http://www.shakuhachi.com/CM-Levenson-WildBore.html
