New Noodling
I've created a myspace artist page to post my various shakuhachi works. So far I have:
Hokkai Minyo Cho: Performed 2 weeks ago. 6 kotos and myself. Wow, kotos are kind of loud...
Going to HI Improv: As implied, I recently booked a trip to Hawaii, so I went out and purchased a cheap ukulele. Learned 2 chords, turned on the recorder, and away I went with this little jam. It's totally unrefined, but I wouldn't want to change it since I think it totally captures the positive energy. Recorded today.
Hopefully I'll add more soon.

Lovely! Don't change a thing on the Going to HI Improv--it's a beaut.
And yes, koto are loud, especially a small army of them thrashing away--sounded pretty good, though.
