Greetings from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Just joined and looking forward to membership on the forum. A classically trained pianist and organist, I discovered the shakuhachi a couple of years ago, acquired a couple of instruments, but only occasionally worked with them. Then over the last eight months or so I have gotten serious about daily practice (self-taught) and have been increasingly drawn by the rich discoveries and joys found in this instrument. With much appreciation for the shared experiences and insights available on this forum.
